In our male-dominated industry, women have traditionally found it difficult to fit in. But as we move toward a more consultative and planning-based business, attributes that women often excel in—such as listening, connecting, and supporting—are in higher demand. At Commonwealth, we see this as an opportunity, and we have taken several steps to help women advisors thrive, including:

  • Hosting a symposium for women advisors to address the issues they face
  • Providing networking opportunities for women at our conferences
  • Supporting industry events that recognize the impact women have had
  • Including women’s perspectives in written articles, panel discussions, presentations, and more

While we won’t solve all the problems on our own, Commonwealth is committed to bringing women together to help them gain the confidence they need to succeed in our industry.
